Now we’re in October, we’re definitely in Autumn. The leaves aren’t very golden at the moment, though, which is a bit of a shame.
We have, though, had squirrels preparing for a winter sleep by fattening themselves on the suet bird-feeder we put out. It took the squirrels all of about two days to empty the feeder, and I don’t think any of the birds here got a look-in.
However, I have lots of golden leaves in this autumn card.

I blended a selection of Distress Oxides for the background, which was the Fabulous Foliage stencil from Simply Cards & Papercraft 217. Then I heat-embossed the squirrel from the Wild & Free stamp set in copper, and the sentiment came from the Autumn days stamp set from Simply Cards & Papercraft 208. The final touch was using a leaf-shaped punch to take out a couple of leaves around the sentiment.
