I got lucky for a crafting session: Tiny and I went to a baby group where I (and the other mothers) was shown how to do a baby massage. Although Tiny got bored and hungry halfway through, it was still sufficient for a sleep in the pram on the way home and which gave me time once we’d got home to have lunch and make a couple of cards.
Including heat-embossing this one. No, it still isn’t complicated, but heat-embossing is still faffier than I can normally manage these days. Of course, I did still manage to forget to dust down the card before stamping and sprinkling with powder, and I still did whatever I do which makes the card wrinkle slightly from the heat, but I haven’t heat-embossed in a while so I’m a little out of practice.
And this was definitely a card which called for a sprinkle of clear gems for sparkle, and some silver mirror card to back the sentiment.
Both stamps came from the Polkadoodle Christmas Gnomes set from Creative Stamping 102.
