Last week, with the bauble die, I had thought to layer it on a background with more Christmas boughs and decorations. Largely because I have collected lots of paper-packs over the years and don’t often use them. So now I try to take every opportunity to try.
I cut a piece of paper to size and then decided it was too fussy and I didn’t like it. And so I didn’t use it. Which meant that I was left with a 4” square of paper and no idea what to do with it. I’ve been staring at it for a few days, hoping inspiration would strike.
But the idea of baubles over it stuck, so I had a rummage for other bauble stamps or dies from the stash to see what might work. Except that none of them were quite right, not for this size, anyway.
Instead, what I found was a stamp set with a series of bells, which I stamped in the Delicata gold ink several times to get a good and glittery image, and fussy-cut. All it needed was a few gems, and a sentiment. I’ve no idea where the stamp set came from, but it looks like it might be a Crafter’s Companion set, going by the information on the back of the packaging.
