I feel like the theme for this month’s cards will be House Mouse designs. I’ve collected a few more, you see. Some festive or wintry, like today’s card, and some more general. And I just can’t resist playing with them.
I made this as a Christmas card, but I don’t see why a different sentiment couldn’t make this a winter birthday or just-because card.

The only complicated thing about it was the fussy-cutting: the background paper, from a freebie pack last year (I forget which magazine), does most of the work with this card. And then all it took was a sprinkle of clear gems and the sentiment stamped in silver.
An even quicker and simpler card than most of mine usually are. Most of the time was taken in colouring (because that should never be rushed) and the cutting. Otherwise it took no time at all.
Very pretty! I have one friend who sends handmade cards and they are just so special! 10x than a regular card, and a work of art to treasure!

Thanks! I know what you mean – my MIL makes cards too (much better than mine!) and I keep every one because they’re so beautiful.
