The Crafter’s Companion stamp set from Creative Stamping 100 really did make it easy for this year’s Christmas cards. And, with talk of a 67% chance of a white Christmas (I think that’s what I read somewhere), I thought I’d share a snowy sort of card.

The snowflake stamps came from the sensibly-named Glittering Snowflakes Collection. They were heat embossed in white (what else, for snowflakes?), and then I blended VersaMagic inks over the top. From light to dark: Spring Pansy, Pretty Petunia, Eggplant.
And then a final sprinkling of clear gems, and a sentiment stamped in Delicata Silver.
I did think to remove the ink from the snowflakes, but I found I quite like the effect of the dark sky showing through the snowflakes.
