With Christmas now behind us, and the decorations down, I’ve turned to this year’s birthdays. Partly because it’s good to have something cheery to think about, amidst all the gloom of Lockdown 3.0, and also because the first birthdays of the year for me are this week or next.
I did actually get these cards made over my Christmas break, because there wasn’t a lot else to do except eat Christmas food, so I’ve started my year feeling On Top of Things. It won’t last, I know.
These cards, for two littles in the family, were made with the Tropical stamp set from Creative Stamping 85, with blended backgrounds and fussy-cut images. And then colour-in stickers for the numbers. I thought fussy-cutting the stamped images made a change from just stamping them over the backgrounds, like I had been doing.
