Cross-stitch

Crafting UFO: J’adore Paris

I began this project about four years ago, back when I was attempting one large-ish project a month. It was supposed to be completed within a month, with a total stitching time of 16 hours.

I think the relatively short stitching time was part of why I chose it back then. This is as far as I got with it.

Which is why it is now part of my UFO project this year. I took it up again in March, and have been stitching on and off since then.

This is where I am now. (Actually, I think I might be a bit further – the Eiffel Tower doesn’t look like I’ve gone back over to complete the crosses, but I have.)

I’m not sure if I’ll keep the pattern. I don’t think I like it enough (any more, at any rate) to want to stitch it again, and I’m not honestly sure what I’ll do with it when I’m done. The magazine suggested a plain white frame. But I don’t know if I want to hang it up. Maybe I’ll find a recipient.
