Reading Lists: September 2019

I started out planning this post by trying to think of a list of different authors I read this month, or have on my To Be Read list, but then I remembered: I don’t read like that, and I doubt you do either.

I think it’s becoming increasingly clear that my To Be Read list remains, as always, more aspiration than actuality. At the moment, in any case, I’m on a roll with Pratchett’s Discworld novels (with more lined up for the coming months: I found a bunch for 50p each in a charity shop), most of which I haven’t read before, and rereading old favourites.

Recently Read:

The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett – Book 2 of the Discworld

Faust Eric by Terry Pratchett – Book 9 of the Discworld

Friday’s Child by Georgette Heyer – Regency romance

To Be Read:

Mort by Terry Pratchett

Moving Pictures by Terry Pratchett

Coroner’s Pidgen by Margery Allingham

Currently Reading:

Murder by Matchlight by ECR Lorac – British Library Crime Classic, first published 1945
