While I was sorting out and reorganising my crafting corner and supplies, I had a rummage through my bag of freebies – all of those magazines came with little kits, most of which are still patiently waiting to be stitched.
In amongst my larger crafting projects, I do intend to stitch these little patterns. Just for a break, to remind myself that I can indeed complete a project.
In the recent summer sunshine, and in need of a proper needlecase – my accumulated embroidery needles are normally to be found stuck to a scrap of aida – I thought this bee pattern from CrossStitcher 333 particularly appropriate. Bright and cheerful.
I think it’ll be good for a card as well; it’s just the right size and reasonably quick to stitch. Perhaps with the slogan Bee Happy…
